Speaking to journalists yesterday in her residence, she stated that this recognition is a testament to Governor Buni’s leadership and dedication to the All Progressives Congress.
” As the former National Chairman of the APC Caretaker and Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee, Governor Buni has demonstrated his ability to steer the party through challenging times.”
She also said that the governor is a tested and trusted leader who will deliver this new mandate with excellence and add value to the party.
Mairiga Umar also commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for this bold and visionary decision, as the appointments are a testament to the president’s leadership and his dedication to recognizing the contributions of party loyalists.
She added that, ” We urge all party members and supporters to rally behind the president and the newly appointed members as we embark in this new chapter in our party’s history again.”
According to her, this move will further strengthen the party’s internal dynamics, promote cohesion, and ensure that the party remains united and focused on delivering its mandate in forthcoming general elections.
