Amadi, a senior lawyer, called on the federal government to use the allowances of political appointees to resolve the financial needs of the striking Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) and restore universities to their pride of place. He maintained that the continued stay of undergraduates and other academic students portends great danger for the educational system of Nigeria.

He said, “Government must resolve this issue, even if it means using the allowances of all political appointees to settle ASUU to restore trust in the educational system, they should do it immediately because it portends great danger.

strongest sector to stay idle, meet their needs and keep them busy. Ultimately it makes the society safer for us all”. Amadi restated that the strike can be resolved amicably if the parties commit to make it succeed.
