The Technical Assistant to the Executive Chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service, Arabinrin Aderonke Atoyebi, has outlined the President’s Renewed Hope agenda as a vision designed to transform the economy and governance.

She emphasized that Nigeria is a land of opportunities, rich in resources and talent. According to her, the election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu marked the beginning of much-needed reforms. He introduced the Renewed Hope agenda—a vision aimed at transforming the economy and governance.

However, Atoyebi noted that a vision alone is not enough; execution is what truly matters. That is why President Tinubu has surrounded himself with individuals capable of turning ideas into reality. “In this administration, if you cannot deliver, you cannot stay,” she added.

“When we look at Nigeria as a country, we all know it is more than just its challenges,” Atoyebi stated.
To ensure the successful implementation of his policies, the President carefully selected a team of reliable individuals who can effectively translate his ideas into tangible reforms for national progress. Among these key figures is the indefatigable, dependable, and ever-reliable Zacch Adedeji.

Dr. Zacch Adedeji, the Executive Chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), is one of those making a significant impact. Time and again, he has demonstrated his effectiveness as a results-driven technocrat, tackling some of the administration’s toughest responsibilities.

Under his leadership, FIRS has introduced automation, closed loopholes, and streamlined tax compliance for individuals and businesses in Nigeria. As a result, government revenue has increased, allowing more funds to be channeled into critical projects that benefit everyday Nigerians.

Despite his demanding role at FIRS, Dr. Adedeji has also taken on national assignments, including overseeing the seamless implementation of the naira-based crude oil supply framework. He has collaborated closely with the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC) to ensure that local refineries such as Dangote, Port Harcourt, and Warri are prioritized in crude oil allocations.

By supporting structured agreements that promote transparency and efficiency, he is mitigating unnecessary forex exposure and protecting the naira from further depreciation.

Given his extensive responsibilities, misinformation and fake news could have been distractions. However, Dr. Adedeji remains unfazed. When false reports suggested that the Naira-for-Crude initiative had been scrapped, he swiftly set the record straight. He does not engage distractions; his focus remains on moving Nigeria forward.

As Chairman of the Technical Sub-Committee overseeing the policy, he immediately reaffirmed that the initiative remains in place and that local refineries continue to receive crude in naira.

Every Nigerian desires a country that works—a nation led by individuals who take action rather than merely making speeches or engaging in social media rhetoric. Dr. Adedeji is proving daily that he is one of the doers. His impact extends beyond a single sector; he is driving multiple national projects and delivering results. His commitment to making Nigeria better remains unwavering.

With every reform, every policy, and every initiative, the Tax Boss demonstrates that Nigeria does not just need ideas—it needs action. And that is precisely what he brings to the table.
