Rivers: State Of Emergency Predictable, Says ACF’s Spokesman

The National Publicity Secretary of the northern apex socio-cultural organisation, Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF), Professor Muhammad Baba said the state of emergency declared in Rivers State by President Bola Tinubu was expected.

Speaking in his personal capacity with LEADERSHIP in a telephone interview, the ACF spokesman said with the State of Emergency in place, all political actors should come together and resolve the political crisis in the state for peace to reign.

“The State of Emergency was expected based on the situation in Rivers state. It is expected that the situation in Rivers can lead to this action taken by Mr. President.
