A travel consultant and CEO of LadyBoss 1820 Ventures, Negesti Sheba, has projected growing market opportunities between Poland and Nigeria as key destinations for job seekers.
“With a 5.1 per cent unemployment rate (as of April 2024) and nearly 90,000 new job openings this year, sectors like IT, logistics, healthcare, and construction are actively recruiting,” Sheba said.
She further explained that skilled workers are in high demand, especially in logistics, where 30 per cent of companies are seeking new talent.
Poland is also known for being inclusive, with low levels of discrimination based on skin color, ethnicity, or religion. However, it is always advisable to stay alert to your surroundings, as a general safety precaution.
She added that English is widely spoken in Poland, especially in major cities and workplaces. Over 37 per cent of Poles speak English, and in international companies, it is often the primary language used for business. Most signs and services also have English translations, making it easier for non-Polish speakers to navigate.
“Our team can assist you with obtaining confirmation of employment intent from the inviting company. You will have 14 days to appeal any decision by submitting a formal written response and any additional documents as required by the consulate.”
Sheba noted that waiting times for appointments are beyond their control. “We strive to ensure your application is as strong as possible to minimise errors. The embassy sets the appointment timeline, which typically ranges from two to six months, based on our experience.”
“We work with credible international partners who provide only legitimate documents and are recognised as leading European immigration experts with a proven track record.”
She emphasised the importance of transparency: “Integrity is at the heart of what we do. Work visa approvals are influenced by many factors beyond our control, including your background check, financial stability, ties to your home country, and specific embassy requirements. We cannot guarantee approval.”
“All we can do is ensure that you submit comprehensive supporting documentation from your prospective employer to strengthen your application. Transparency with our clients is essential, and while we aim for success, we cannot guarantee visa approval,” Sheba concluded
