In the list which he tagged as 12 rap kings, West mentioned himself, Lil Wayne, Jay-Z, Biggie Smalls, 2PAC, 50 Cent, Eminem, LL Cool J, Run DMC, Nas and Rakim as the greatest rappers of all time.

Sharing the list via his X handle, he wrote, “There are 12 rap kings

The list sparked controversy, with many challenging Kanye West for excluding Kendrick Lamar, J.Cole and other hip-hop royalties from the list.

Kanye West recently revealed that he doesn’t like Kendrick Lamar’s music despite admitting that he is “very good.”

Last year, he slammed J.Cole for apologising to Kendrick Lamar over a diss track he made in response to Lamar dissing him and Drake on a song.

West insisted that J.Cole goofed by apologising to Kendrick Lamar.
