Police Rescue Catholic Priest, 3 Kidnap Victims In Anambra

The Anambra State Police Command has rescued four kidnap victims comprising a Catholic Church priest, Rev. Fr. Stephen Echezona at different security operations in past two weeks.

Commissioner of Police in the state, CP Ikioye Orutugu revealed this while briefing newsmen at the Command headquarters on Friday.

Orutugu said ten kidnap suspects were also arrested by police operatives within the period.

He also stated that 10 arms of assorted brands, 16 expended cartridges, 46 live ammunition, 4 vehicles and some other incriminating items were recovered by the security operatives within the period.
