Traditional Ruler Donates Classrooms To Kwara School

The Eesa of Omu – Aran in Irepodun local government area of Kwara State, Chief AbdulRazaq Oyinloye, has donated a block of three classrooms to Omu-Aran Muslim Primary School.

The classrooms which were fully equipped with furnished desks, chairs and boards were donated to the school through the Aro Bamgbose Foundation with support from the Bank of Industry (BOI).

Chief Oyinloye, in his remarks during the handing over of the facilities to the school’s management, said it was borne out of his desire to give back to the school that laid the foundation for his academic greatness.
He noted that it had always been his desire to contribute his quota to the academic development of his alma mata.

He recalled that his foundation had for many years engaged in providing free healthcare services to the people Omu-Aran and neighbouring communities in the effort to bring healthcare services closer to the people at the grassroots.

Oyinloye said the donation of the classrooms was part of the foundation’s corporate social responsibility.
The Olomu of Omu-Aran, Oba Abdulraheem Adeoti, in his remarks, expressed happiness over the donation and thanked the donor for his kind gesture.

He said the donation of the classrooms was very significant as it was geared towards actualising Omu-Aran’s vision of becoming a mega, advanced and industrious city.

Earlier, the head teacher of the school, Hajia Alimot Adedeji, had extended the appreciation of the staff, management and pupils of the school to the donor.

She noted that the classrooms and other facilities would provide the pupils a conducive and modern learning environment.

She urged the pupils to make judicious use of the facilities and embrace the opportunities they present.
