His disappearance raised alarm among his family and community, prompting an immediate report to the police.

Initial investigations yielded no leads for several weeks.

In early March, the family received a distressing call from kidnappers demanding a significant ransom for his release, threatening dire consequences if their demands were not met.

This has left the family in a state of ongoing fear and anxiety, with his wife and children living in dread of further threats.

The situation underscores the increasing insecurity in the region, where kidnappings for ransom are on the rise.

The family has been advised to limit their movements and refrain from public spaces, as the kidnappers have indicated they are being monitored.

While the police have pledged their commitment to the case, the lack of progress has only deepened the family’s distress.

The ordeal has rendered the family feeling unsafe and vulnerable, with no clear resolution in sight. They continue to seek help from both authorities and the community, hoping for Olukose’s safe return.
