The Court of Appeal, Abuja Division, has ordered the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) to call of its ongoing industrial action immediately.

The Appellate Court said that was the only condition that the union’s request to appeal the ruling of the National Industrial Court, which earlier ordered the union to call off its strike, will be given effect.

The court, however, granted the application on the condition that the union obeys the ruling of the lower court and call off the strike action immediately pending the determination of the substantive suit.
