Speaking during his vote of thanks after the 8th-day Fidau prayer in honour of High Chief Ganiyu Aremu Babayeju-Alemo recently, Basorun Babayeju expressed deep gratitude for the values his father instilled, integrity, service, and unwavering commitment to the truth.

High Chief Ganiyu Babayeju-Alemo was laid to rest at his residence in Gbangba Ijaye, Abeokuta, recently, by Islamic rites. The event, which was held at the DLK Event Center in Abeokuta, brought together dignitaries, family members, and community leaders to pay tribute to a man whose influence spanned business, telecommunications, and traditional leadership.

Chief Ibraheem Babayeju also extended sincere appreciation to all who honoured their invitation, acknowledging their presence as a testament to the legacy and respect his father commanded. He said,

“As the family bids farewell, they remain committed to preserving his legacy, ensuring that his contributions to business, tradition, and society continue to inspire future generations.”
Ibraheem, who led the family in honouring their patriarch’s memory, is the Basorun of Ikoyi Ekiti, Principal Consultant at Ocean Midas Consulting Ltd, and CEO of Investment Ideas Convergenz Ltd (IICL).
