Governor Sani, while restating that the verification exercise was aimed at weeding out “ghost” pensioners from the state payroll to curtail squandering the State’s meagre resources, however ordered the Pension Bureau to immediately commence the payment of pensioners.

The Governor further assured pensioners of his unwavering commitment to their welfare.

He said it is in furtherance of the commitment that informed his determination to clean up the payroll for seamless and uninterrupted payment of monthly pensions.
