Nigeria Lists 17 Athletes For 2025 World Relays

Nigeria will be represented by 17 athletes at the 2025 World Athletics Relays. The competition will hold in Guangzhou, China next month.

The squad includes eight male and nine female athletes.

Team Nigeria will compete in in the men’s and women’s 4x100m events, as well as the mixed 4x100m and 4x400m relays.

Favour Ashe, Alaba Akintola, Karlington Anunagba, Udodi Onwuzurike, Fola Olaoye, and Usheoritse Itsekiri will compete in the men’s 4x100m.

Listed for the women’s 4x100m are, Favour Ofili, Rosemary Chukwuma, Tobi Amusan , Umukoro Success, Tiana Eyakpobeyan, and Jennifer Chukwuka.

The six athletes that will represent Nigeria in the mixed 4x100m relay are, Rosemary Chukwuma, Favour Ofili, Umukoro Success, Favour Ashe, Alaba Akintola, and Udodi Onwuzurike.

Patience Okon George, Omolara Ogunmakinju, Chidi Okezie, Samson Nathaniel, and Emmanuel Ojeli will compete in the mixed 4x400m relay.
