The APC Grassroots Governance Group (APC G3) yesterday said President Bola Tinubu is addressing fundamental issues that have long held Nigeria back, warning that desperate politicians are working to derail his Renewed Hope Agenda.

In a statement signed by Engr. Michael Ayuba Auta, chairman of its Board of Trustees, and Amechi Chuks Oyema, national coordinator, the group said enemies of progress, who once benefited from Nigeria’s broken system, were fighting back.

“President Tinubu is touching the very foundations of the country to correct past wrongs, and that is why those who fed fat on the old system are desperate to cause instability,” APC G3 said.

The group expressed confidence in the Armed Forces of Nigeria, under the leadership of the Chief of Defence Staff, Gen. Chris Musa, saying the military is capable of overcoming the security challenges across the country.

It also cautioned Nigerian youths against falling for the “antics of desperate politicians” allegedly plotting to stir unrest.

“The politicians have their children abroad but want to use Nigerian youths to cause trouble at home. Be rest assured, the Armed Forces under Gen. Musa will not spare anyone who falls for their tricks,” the statement added.

APC G3 called on Nigerians not to lose hope, assuring that the country will overcome its current challenges and emerge stronger.
