The MoU, signed by the Country Director of the Canadian Education Council, Dr Adeniyi John marks the beginning of a strategic partnership aimed at fostering the establishment of the Canadian Education Council International Career Centre within the University. This Centre will serve as a dynamic platform to connect students, fresh graduates, and young professionals to global career opportunities.
Speaking on the significance of the partnership, Dr Adeniyi John emphasized that the Centre will equip students, graduates, and professionals with critical skills, certifications, and exposure needed to meet the demands of today’s competitive global workforce.

“The University is committed to producing well-rounded graduates with competitive advantages. It is pleasing to no that recently, six students of our institution achieved a 100% pass rate in ICAN’s ATAWA Part III examination, showcasing our academic excellence”
Through this collaboration, the University of Ilesa will benefit from a range of programs and initiatives, including, Access to international internship and employment placements; Professional development courses designed to enhance employability and career readiness; Tailored workshops on leadership, entrepreneurship, and professional communication. etc
The Canadian Education Council remains committed to creating platforms that connect education to real-world opportunities, fostering international collaboration, and supporting the aspirations of students and young professionals across Africa.
