Senior Civil Servants Set For Sustainable, United Force

The leadership of the Association of Senior Civil Servants of Nigeria (ASCSN) has reassured the readiness of its president for a sustainable United force.

Its president, Comrade Shehu Mohammed made this known to LEADERSHIP as part of his 2025 May Day message jointly signed by him and secretary-general, Comrade Joshua Apebo.

According to them, “As we join millions of Nigerian workers and their counterparts throughout the world to mark the 2025 May Day, the Association of Senior Civil Servants of Nigeria (ASCSN) urges its teeming members to renew their faith and commitment to the National Leadership of the Union led by Comrade Shehu Mohammed.

“We want to assure you all that the leadership of the Association is taking all necessary steps to reposition the Union to continue to pursue welfare issues that will uplift the living standards of our members throughout the country.”

Furthermore, the duo noted that, “These welfare matters include but are not limited to: payment of salary, promotion, and elongation arrears; 1st 28 days in lieu of hotel accommodation; restoration of gratuity to Public Service employees; creation of vacancies to stem cases of stagnation of officers especially in the Directorate level, among others.”
