The Niger Delta Development Agenda (NDDA), has congratulated the newly appointed chairman of the South-South Development Commission, (SSDC), Chibudom Nwuche and members of his team, noting that the current team will help develop the region.
While also hailing the managing director , Usoro Offiong Akpabio and all executive members of the SSDC, the Niger Delta Development Agenda said their appointment couldn’t have come at a better time.
In a statement signed by NDDA convener, Comr. Iteveh Nurudeen Ekpokpobe, he commended President Bola Tinubu for the creation of the SSDC after collapsing the Ministry of Niger Delta Development.
The NDDA convener also showered encomium on the president of the senate, Senator Godswill Akpabio and the distinguished senate as well as the National Assembly for their legislative roles geared towards the development of the Niger Delta region.
The NDDA also declared support for the new management in every material particular.
It would be recalled that President Tinubu approved the chairman, MD and executive members of the newly SSDC.
Some of the newly appointed members of the SSDC, who will work with Nwuche and Usoro include: the executive director, projects, Hon. Marcus Nie Eji; executive director, Social and Human Capital Development, Engr. Aganaba Preye Steven; executive director corporate services, Dr. Timi Alari Ayibatonye executive director commercial and environmental development, Hon. Joseph Ugheoke, executive director, finance, Ambassador Sony Abang; among others.
