Held in Lagos with the theme “Powering Possibilities: Maximised Efficiency, Minimise Costs, Unmatched Support with Caterpillar Gas Generators,” the session brought together customers, industry leaders, and energy stakeholders from across the country.

A focal point was the unveiling of the newly launched CAT G3520K natural gas generator set, designed to meet Nigeria’s evolving energy demands. With its enhanced power output, improved fuel efficiency, and versatile application capabilities, the G3520K is ideal for manufacturing, utilities, agriculture, and commercial enterprises.

The event featured expert insights on energy efficiency, sustainability, and reducing operating expenses, supported by interactive discussions and live product demonstrations. These activities underscored both companies’ commitment to delivering sustainable, reliable, and efficient energy solutions.

In his welcome address, the managing director of Mantrac Nigeria, Emad Adeeb, thanked customers for their ongoing loyalty and participation, stating: “We put our customers at the core of all we do. Listening, learning, and providing solutions that truly address your needs are more important goals of this engagement session than simply introducing new products.”

He added, “Ensuring we consistently meet your growing needs and provide exceptional service remains our top priority. As you know, Caterpillar has been in operation for a century, manufacturing highly effective products that meet global expectations.”

“Let me use this opportunity to inform you that we are introducing a new range of products, with special focus on the CAT G3520K, which is engineered to help you navigate today’s challenges by supporting better asset management and reducing operational stress.”

Other speakers included group segment manager, Large Electric Power, Ahmed Aly, who presented on Advanced Gas Applications and CHP; senior EP Consultant at Caterpillar, Chukwuemeka Igboanugo, on Upgrade Solutions; and Khaled Kurdi, Senior Reman Consultant, who discussed CAT Reman – Performance Like New, Value Beyond Compare. Hicham Ait Chahdad, Gas Business Development Manager, and Roland Rahme, Territory Manager for Large Electric Power at Caterpillar, presented insights into the new G3500K range – highlighting its higher efficiency and lower operational costs.

The CAT G3520K’s improved performance allows customers to generate more power at a lower cost and respond to load changes more rapidly. It starts quicker, handles heavier loads, and offers a higher power density than previous models. Its G2 transient capability enables it to reach maximum load capacity 40 per cent faster than earlier versions.

The event reflects Mantrac and Caterpillar’s shared commitment to innovation, customer satisfaction, and sustainable energy in Nigeria. The introduction of reliable and eco-friendly alternatives, such as the CAT G3520K and G3500K ranges, is set to play a vital role in improving energy access and operational resilience for businesses across multiple sectors—particularly as the nation continues to face power generation and distribution challenges.

During the Q&A session, customers praised Mantrac and Caterpillar for their consistent customer-centric approach and offered valuable suggestions to deepen their ongoing partnership. Both companies reaffirmed their commitment to supporting customers with the very best in power solutions technology.
