Bauchi Gov Appoints 7 New Permanent Secretaries

Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed has approved the appointment of seven new permanent secretaries in the state civil service.

They include, Mukhtar Gidado (Alkaleri LGA), Mohammed Nasir Usman (Bauchi LGA), Abubakar Garba Adamu (Darazo LGA), Yusuf Adamu (Ganjuwa LGA), Yakubu Ahmed (Ganjuwa LGA), Adamu Aliyu Abdullahi (Katagum LGA), and Ahmed Ahmed (Toro LGA).

The governor’s approval was conveyed by the Head of Civil Service, Barr. Muhammad Sani Umar, who stated that the appointments were made based on the appointees’ impressive qualifications, proven track records, dedication, integrity and outstanding performance in the recent promotion examinations and interviews.

A statement issued yesterday by the information officer in the Office of the Head of Civil Service, Mr. Hashim Umar Bulkachuwa, noted that the development was part of the government’s continued efforts to rejuvenate and enhance the quality of the civil service, with the aim of repositioning it for more effective service delivery.
