Amb. Umanu Elijah, a Nigerian leader and founder of Tudi Africa, has been honoured as one of Africa’s 40 Under 40 most influential young leaders in Cairo, Egypt.

This prestigious award recognises emerging African trailblazers driving transformation and inspiring hope in governance and development.

Representing Nigeria with pride, Amb. Umanu was recognised for his unwavering commitment to grassroots empowerment, youth advancement, and inclusive development values that lie at the heart of his growing political vision. As founder of Tudi Africa, Umanu has built a legacy of service, championing education, economic opportunity, and sustainable community development in underserved regions.

In addition to his personal induction, Tudi Africa was named a finalist in the Community Development Organisations category, a fitting acknowledgment of the organisation’s profound impact across multiple communities in Nigeria and beyond.

Speaking about the event, Amb. Umanu Elijah said: “This honour is not just mine—it belongs to every young African who dares to dream of a better tomorrow, every village child who deserves a voice, and every community that longs to be seen. Our time is now. Africa doesn’t just need leaders it needs servant leaders committed to real change.”
