First lady, Senator Remi Tinubu, has expressed deep sorrow over the tragic flood in Mokwa, Tiffin Maza and Anguwan Hausawa communities in Niger State between Wednesday, May 28 and Thursday, May 29, 2025.

In a condolence message yesterday, she  extended her sympathies to Governor Mohammed Umar Bago and the people of Niger State, describing the loss of lives and destruction of property as very saddening.

Senator Tinubu prayed for divine comfort for the bereaved families and eternal rest for the departed souls.

“I pray that Almighty God gives the families, friends and loved ones of those affected the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss. I pray that God grant the departed souls eternal peace and rest,” she said.
