The former deputy governor of Imo State, Prince Eze Madumere, has called on Nigerians to live a selfless life of service to God and humanity, as this represents the embodiment of a legacy worthy of emulation.

Prince Madumere highlighted that it is not life that matters, but how many lives were touched, the courage, enduring legacies and tenacity of purpose exhibited by an individual that matter.

The former deputy governor encouraged the citizenry to be mindful of how they live and reflect on what they would be remembered for at the end of the day.

He said, “We must re-examine our lives and re-access the same if it falls in line with the purpose of God, as we must all give account of our stewardship at the end of the day.”

Prince Madumere stated this while presenting an address at the memorial service of the Matriarch of Madumere Royal Dynasty, Ugoeze Malinda Madumere, held at St. Luke’s Anglican Church, Achi Mbieri, Mbaitoli local government area of the state.

The former deputy governor revealed that the outing service was not only a moment of reflection but also a celebration of faith, love, and enduring legacy, which represents a hallmark of the Madumere Royal Dynasty.

The traditional ruler of the Achi Mbieri autonomous community in Mbaitoli LGA of Imo State, His Royal Highness Eze Henry Anoruo Madumere, expressed gratitude to God for a life well spent for God and humanity. He submitted that this translated to the lifestyle of the royal household.

Speaking on the topic, “Beware of Satanic Schemes,” drawn from the book of Romans 4:23-24, Venerable Joshua Onwuliri of Owerri Diocese admonished the congregation to live Christ-like lives and remain spiritually vigilant in anticipation of eternal life.

Prince Chijioke Madumere, the elder brother of the former deputy governor, led the outing service on behalf of the family.
