Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen, has rejected a €75m offer to join Saudi Arabian side, Al Hilal.

Transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, disclosed this in a post shared on his X (formerly Twitter) handle on Sunday, “Despite agreement between club to club with Napoli for €75m fee, Osimhen says no to the Saudi Pro League club. Galatasaray will insist on signing him with the race now open again.”

Osimhen, who has been a subject of transfer speculation in recent months, appeared to be in no rush to make a decision about his next move.

Sources close to the player suggested that his main priority was to continue his career in Europe, where he feels more competitively challenged.

The 26-year-old Napoli star has been linked with several clubs across Europe, including teams in the Premier League and Serie A.

However, he is reportedly taking his time to evaluate the best sporting project before making his next move.

Recall that, throughout his loan spell at Galatasaray, Osimhen has been instrumental in the team’s success, scoring 37 goals in 41 appearances. His impressive performance has made him a fans’ favourite, and the club is optimistic about retaining him.
