Governor of Bauchi State, Bala Mohammed, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Alhaji Ahmed Nuhu Wabi, the Iyan Jama’are and district head of Hanafari, who died on Sunday in a tragic motor accident.
Governor Bala described the late Ahmed Nuhu Wabi as a distinguished traditional titleholder and son of the revered Emir of Jama’are, His Royal Highness Alhaji Nuhu Wabi. He hailed him as a shining example of humility, responsibility, and service to his people.
He added that as the district head of Hanafari, the late Ahmed served with unwavering dedication, promoting peace, justice, and development within his domain and beyond.
In a condolence message issued yesterday by his media aide, Mukhtar Gidado, Governor Bala Mohammed, on behalf of the government and people of Bauchi State, extended heartfelt condolences to the Jama’are Emirate Council, the immediate and extended family of the deceased, and all those affected by his untimely demise.
“This is a painful loss, not only to the Jama’are Emirate but to the entire state. We mourn a young, promising, and dutiful leader whose life was tragically cut short. His death is a stark reminder of the fragility of life and the divine will of Almighty Allah,” the governor said.
He assured the Jama’are Emirate of the state government’s continued support and prayers during this difficult time.
Governor Bala Mohammed prayed that Allah (SWT) grant the deceased eternal rest in Aljannatul Firdaus and give his family, the emir, and the entire Jama’are Emirate the strength to bear the loss.
