Addressing journalists at the NUJ Press Centre on Monday in Lokoja, Juwon noted that activities lined up for the event will commence on Thursday, June 19th, 2025, with the Album Listening of his latest release, Son of Margaret, at Golden Royale Hotel Lokoja.

According to him, the first Kogi Entertainment Summit will be held the following day at AKK Hotels Lokoja, with talks on how to boost the state’s music, fashion, event planning, and movie industries.

He explained that the Jumabee Inspires Concert will be held on Saturday, June 21st, 2025, at 7 p.m. at the Children’s Amusement Park in Lokoja. Over forty home-based superstars will perform live, as will other international singers.

He said, “Jumabee Inspires Concert is now attracting people from all walks of life and changing the narrative of the misgivings about the confluence state, saying the state remains the best in the North Central.

Hon. Jumabee, who is the special adviser on art and culture to the state governor, maintained that the entertainment summit was aimed at raising people’s consciousness of the need to embrace and invest in entertainment.

The governor’s aide added that the concert, which began six years ago, was to use his birthday to add value to the state’s entertainment industry.

He pointed out that, while many students across the three senatorial districts will be given scholarships at the concert, about 150 youths will be trained on several skill acquisition programmes.

He had earlier paid a courtesy visit to the State Council of Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) chairman, Alhaji Haruna Adamu, who endorsed the concert and commended him for projecting Kogi State to the world.
