Rivers Angels claimed the 2025 President Federation Cup title after edging Nasarawa Amazons 4-2 on penalties following a 2-2 draw in regulation time at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Lagos.

It was the tenth time that the Tosan Blackson’s side will be winning the trophy.

Nasarawa Amazons led 2-0 at the break, courtesy of two goals scored by Olusola Shobowale.

Shobowale netted the curtain raiser after seven minutes.

The forward doubled the advantage for the Lafia club 10 minutes later.

However, the Rivers Angels fought back after the break, scoring twice within five minutes.
