Meet Nigerian Fintech Expert, Business Dev’t Consultant Ken Nwokike

Ken Nwokike is a First Class graduate of Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Covenant University, Ota in Ogun State, Nigeria. He has worked in different sectors of Nigeria’s economy, such as the Power, Information Technology and the Finance Regulatory sectors.

In furtherance of his academic and career development, he completed an MBA programme and went through programmes in notable universities such as Harvard University, Boston, Massachusetts, USA; Cambridge University, United Kingdom, and Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Boston Massachusetts, USA.

Nwokike started his career as a power engineer working for a consulting firm under the national power project termed Integrated Power Project, where he designed power distribution and transmission networks.

He then joined Galaxy Backbone Plc, a Federal Government-owned Information Technology company, where he started his IT career as a network engineer with the responsibility of setting up internet connectivity for all government agencies and, thereafter, he joined the Information Department.

The First Class Electrical and Electronics Engineer turned IT expert later joined the Technology Department of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), where he was a Team Lead for several projects such as the Enterprise Backup Solution, The Enterprise Email Solution Upgrade, Oracle Database upgrade and deployment of several applications. He was part of the project team that set up the
NIRSAL National Microfinance Bank. He also worked in other departments such as the Development Finance Department and the Trade and Exchange Department of the
CBN.

The Fintech expert is currently the Acting Managing Director of Payment Access Systems Limited, a fintech company that provides seamless and reliable payment solutions to the public and private sectors.

He is also the Founder/CEO of Aroda Finance Ltd, a business consultancy and tech company.

Aroda Finance offers small businesses integrated tools for inventory management, order processing, cross-border payments, and CRM.
