The Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Barau Jibrin, and the immediate-past national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, have arrived
Madina, Saudi Arabia, for the funeral rites of elder statesman business mogul, Alhaji Aminu Dantata.
The Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the DSP, Ismail Mudashir, said that his principal and others landed at the Prince Mohammad Bin Abdulaziz International Airport, Madina, at 5:15am Saudi Arabian time on Tuesday.
Dantata, a towering figure in Nigerian business and philanthropy, will be laid to rest this Tuesday in the Islamic holy city of Madina.
Also on the trip are the Kano State chairman of APC, Prince Abdullahi Abbas; chairman of the Senate Committee on Tertiary Institutions and TETFund, Senator Muntari Dandutse, and the Deputy Minority Leader of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Ali Madaki.
Others inlude the Member of House of Representatives representing Makoda/Dambatta Federal Constituency of Kano State, Engr. Hamisu Ibrahim Chidari; son of late Alhaji Aminu Dantata, Ahmad Munzali Dantata; Usman Yahaya Kansila, and Hon. Sani Bala, among others.
