Hundreds of commuters plying the ever-busy Sango-Eleyele Road were seen at various bus stops waiting for commercial vehicles and motorcyclists to convey them to their various destinations.

The students had in the early hours of Tuesday blocked the entrance gates of the institution and the Sango-Eleyele Road leaving many commuters, residents and travellers plying the road stranded.

It was gathered that some staff of the institution were also stranded as the majority of them were unable to gain access to the institution.

Governor Makinde had few days ago renamed the institution to Omololu Olunloyo Polytechnic, Ibadan to immortalise the late former governor of the State.
