Another Nigerian Fighter Adeshina Set To Battle For PFL Africa Championship Title

In an electrifying display of skill and determination, Nigeria’s Wasi Adeshina is preparing for a crucial matchup at the second Professional Fighters League (PFL) Africa event, which is set to take place on Saturday, August 9, at the Big Top Arena, Carnival City in Johannesburg, South Africa.

The highly anticipated event will showca––se some of Africa’s most talented mixed martial artists as they compete for the prestigious title of PFL Africa Champion.

Adeshina, who holds a professional record of 7-3, will step into the SmartCage to face the formidable Jean Jacques Lubaya from the Democratic Republic of Congo, who boasts an impressive record of 9-1. This Featherweight clash is expected to be a marquee event of the evening, with both fighters looking to make a significant impact in this fiercely competitive division.

Additionally, the event will feature an exciting Welterweight bout, as Boloyang from the Democratic Republic of Congo (3-1) takes on Cameroon’s undefeated fighter, Octave Ayinda (5-0). Another thrilling matchup will see Burkina Faso’s Sanon Sadeck (7-2) face Guinea-Bissau’s Yabna N’tchala (11-2-1).

The highlight of the night will be a major Featherweight First Round bout featuring Nigeria’s Patrick Ocheme (6-1) against Guinea’s Mohamed Camara (5-2-1). This battle promises to be a high-stakes contest between two of West Africa’s premier fighters.
