OPSH, in a statement in Jos by its Media and Information Officer, Major Samson Zhakom, said the suspect was arrested while in ambush position with possible intent to attack unsuspecting commuters in the area.

According to the Major Zhakom, items recovered from the suspect include one fabricated AK-47 rifle, one AK-47 magazine and 30 rounds of 7.62 mm (Special) ammunition.

Zhakom added that the suspect and weapon and ammunition recovered from him were being kept in the custody of troops for further action.
