Ahmed Musa, the newly appointed general manager of Kano Pillars Football Club, has firmly denied allegations that he distributed cars to players and officials following his assumption of the role.

The claims surfaced after a Facebook user, Thomas Jeremiah Gora, posted images of Toyota Land Cruiser Jeeps purportedly given to all players and officials of Kano Pillars by the Super Eagles captain on his first day in office.

In a statement from the club’s headquarters, Musa categorically dismissed these allegations as “entirely untrue.”

He urged the public, media outlets, and social media users to verify information from credible sources prior to dissemination, stressing the importance of responsible journalism.

“Spreading unverified news not only misleads the public but also undermines the integrity of the club and its leadership,” Musa stated.

He reassured supporters and stakeholders that the club’s primary focus was on developing a strong, disciplined, and successful team, vowing to remain undistracted by unfounded rumours.
