Gov Otu Completes Redesign of Obudu Cattle Ranch Resort, Plans To Reconstruct The Ranch

Cross River State Governor Bassey Otu has completed arrangements to redesign and reconstruct the iconic Obudu Ranch Resort in order to boost the state tourism sector.

Mr. Sunday Michael, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Obudu Ranch Resort, disclosed this to journalists during a media chat on Thursday in Calabar.

Michael stated that the project, which aims to revitalise and reposition the resort as a premier eco-tourism destination, will commence reconstruction very soon.

“The project is a testament to Governor Otu’s commitment to developing Cross River State’s tourism potential.

“We are excited to welcome visitors from across the globe to experience the breathtaking beauty of Obudu Ranch Resort.” He maintained.

The SA averred that the project, when completed, will provide world-class facilities and amenities that will showcase the state’s natural beauty and rich cultural heritage.

It stressed that completion of the project will create jobs, stimulate economic growth, and increase the state’s revenue base.

The reconstruction of Obudu Ranch Resort is expected to commence soon.

Michael maintained that the project is poised to put Cross River State on the global tourism map,  solidifying its position as a hub for eco-tourism in Nigeria.
