DJ Venum attended Ireti Grammar School in Ikoyi and later Yaba College of Technology. His interest in music started at an early age from watching his dad play at music gigs.

In secondary school, he was a rapper and a confessed studio rat. At the same time, he developed a keen interest in deejaying. As fate would have it, he was transferred from the studio section at Bogobiri to the deejaying section. This is how his DJ career started. He got the name Venum from a friend during his days as a rapper.

DJ Venum has played at several concerts and festivals. He regularly plays at Mainland BlockParty – Nigeria’s biggest youth event. He also has a residency at Bogobori and Roma Lagos.

DJ Venum plans to release an album of mashups soon.
