Coach Salisu Yusuf has exited Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) side Nasarawa United to take up a position at a club in the Benin Republic.
Yusuf, a former assistant coach of the Super Eagles, took charge of Nasarawa United in the latter half of last season.
The 63-year-old played a crucial role in helping the Solid Miners avoid relegation and reached the semi-finals of the President Federation Cup. He is currently in Cotonou to finalise the lucrative deal.
Prior to accepting the offer from the Beninese club, Yusuf was courted by his former club, Kano Pillars. This marks the first time he will be managing a club outside Nigeria.
