El-Rufai Created Insecurity In Kaduna, Gov Uba Sani Achieving Peace, Says Tinubu’s Aide

Temitope Ajayi, one of the top media aides to President Bola Tinubu, has accused opposition politician and immediate-past governor of Kaduna State, Malam Nasir El-Rufai of bequeathing legacy of insecurity to his successor, Governor Uba Sani.

The presidential media aide, who, however, noted El-Rufai’s achievement of physical infrastructure, hailed incumbent Governor Uba Sani for achieving peace and security in the State.

LEADERSHIP reports that while El-Rufai is currently spearheading the moves to oust President Tinubu in 2027 elections, his successor in office and erstwhile political godson, Uba Sani, is one of the northern governors campaigning for the President’s return to office for second term.

Ajayi, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, who took to his Facebook page on Wednesday to hail Uba Sani and throw jibes at El-Rufai, is currently in Kaduna as part of the Presidential Media Team attending the ongoing civic engagement between the Northern Leaders and the senior officials of the President Tinubu’s administration organised by the Sir Ahmadu Bello Memorial Foundation.

He wrote: “The most important achievement of Governor Uba Sani in the last two years is how he has been able to build elite consensus to restore peace and security in Kaduna State.

“While the achievements of Nasir el-Rufai, his immediate-past predecessor, in areas of physical infrastructure cannot be denied, Governor Uba is also building on them and expanding them further.

“Governor Sani has been most successful in the management of the state’s diversity by charting a path different from the belligerent legacy of his predecessor that polarized the state and created humongous insecurity for the 8 years he held sway.”
