The vice chancellor of Al-Qalam University, Professor Nasiru Musa Yauri, expressed gratitude to ASR Africa for selecting the university as a beneficiary.

He emphasised that the location and design of the new structure were deliberate, as the university gears up to launch its College of Allied Health Sciences.

“As part of preparations to commence academic activities in the proposed college, we have formalized partnerships with leading healthcare facilities in Katsina State to support clinical training for our students,” Prof. Yauri announced.

Governor of Katsina State, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, who delivered the keynote address, commended the chairman of ASR Africa, Alhaji Abdul Samad Rabiu, for his commitment to educational development in the state.

“Education remains a cornerstone of our development agenda, and this gesture aligns with our vision of transforming Katsina into an educational hub,” the governor stated.

He also acknowledged the presence of prominent dignitaries, including the Emir of Katsina, His Royal Highness Alhaji Abdulmumini Kabir Usman, and senior state officials.

The newly donated Administrative Block includes lecture theatres, classrooms, furnished offices for academic and administrative staff, and a conference hall.
