A presidential aspirant on the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2023 general election, Dr Nicholas Felix, has said President Bola Tinubu will not score less than 15 million votes at the 2027 general election.

Felix, a US-based general overseer and founder of Miracle Centre International Inc, added that the opposition coalition’s African Democratic Congress(ADC) poses no threat to APC.

The former presidential contender stated this during the free distribution of premium motor spirit (fuel) by the Dr Nicholas Felix (DNF) Foundation International in partnership with DNF Filling Station in Kwankwashe/Suleja community of Niger State on Thursday.

Felix said the free distribution of fuel to motorists, especially motorcyclists and tricyclists was just to put smiles on the faces of the people in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Tinubu.

“We are giving out free fuel to the community. As you know, this is our Renew Hope season. We are just doing this to put a smile on the faces of the people.

There’s no other motivation, but we just want to give back to the community,” he said.

The APC chieftain said while members of the opposition coalition ADC were free to exercise their rights of association in a democracy, they were yet to set the agenda for the country and they would soon scatter.

“As far as we are concerned and the APC, come 2027, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is going to have nothing less than 15 million votes. We know that is going to happen. So there’s no threat with the ADC or whatever coalition. Let them come. When the time comes for the campaign, we are going to roll out the scorecard of Mr. President.

“Didn’t you watch on Arise News this morning, students on campuses singing, celebrating with joy, who just received the Nelfund grant, over 100 and something billion, with no interest by the way. I live in America for 21 years, I’ve never heard that happen. Over 100 billion given to 600,000 students.

“This morning, I was just watching it on Arise News. They are celebrating and happy. So these 600,000 students, they will vote. Their family will vote because they know what it takes to go to school. So we’re excited and we know come 2027, it’s going to be a walkover for us,” he noted.

Also speaking the APC deputy national woman leader, Zainab Ibrahim, said President Tinubu has shown commitment to women inclusivity, adding that  Nigerian women are ready to support his re-election.

She added that ADC was only exercising its democratic rights of association.

Ibrahim lauded Felix for giving back to the society in line with the Renewed Hope agenda, saying the former presidential hopeful is a bridge builder between the young and old, representing hope for the nation.

Speaking of the coalition, she said, “Opposition is something that is common in democracy. Without opposition, there will be no democracy. Everybody is entitled; everybody is free to associate with whatever he wants but Mr. President is doing good, Mr. President is doing well. Part of why we are here today is the Renewed Hope Agenda. So as we continue, I know that opposition cannot strike. We are not threatened at all.

“The Ministry of Women Affairs has never had it this good. For the first time in the history of this country, the ministry has a budget of over 100 billion Naira to empower women economically, socially and that gives them the enabling environment, the capacity to contest and get politically empowered. So we are good to go with Mr. President. Nigerian women are happy and no opposition or whatsoever will win the hearts of women,” she added.

Speaking with journalists, some of the beneficiaries including John Haruna, Mohammed Al-hassan and Paul Suleiman thanked the DNF Foundation International and DNF Filling Station for bringing succour to them.
