Tinubu Reappoints Yelwa As N-HYPPADEC CEO

President Bola Tinubu has approved the renewal of the appointment of Alhaji Abubakar Sadiq Yelwa as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the National Hydroelectric Power Producing Areas Development Commission (N-HYPPADEC) for a second and final tenure of four years.

This is contained in a statement on Wednesday by the Director Information, Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Segun Imohiosen.

“This appointment is in accordance with the provisions of Section 93 of the Electricity Act, 2023,” the statement said.

Tinubu urged Yelwa to consolidate on the gains recorded by the Commission and bring greater innovation and dedication to the discharge of its mandate.
