The administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed Peter Osarimen Ukhurebor, founder and CEO of Black At, to the Council for Creative Technology Futures (CCTF) — a newly launched national body set up to drive innovation in Nigeria’s cultural and creative industries.

The appointment, conveyed by the director general of the National Council for Arts and Culture (NCAC), Obi Asika, underscores the government’s confidence in Peter’s ability to help position Nigeria as a global leader where culture meets cutting-edge technology.

The CCTF, approved by the Federal Ministry of Art, Culture, Tourism, and Creative Economy, will guide policy, strategy, and implementation for harnessing emerging technologies like Artificial Intelligence (AI), Augmented and Virtual Reality (AR/VR), Web3, and Blockchain across more than 49 sectors of Nigeria’s creative economy.

With the industry projected to exceed $25 billion by 2025, the council is seen as a game-changer for job creation, IP protection, and global market expansion.

Peter brings over 15 years of elite global experience as a brand architect, cultural strategist, and creative visionary.
