The Kehinde Oshilaja Foundation for People Living with Disability has concluded plans to hold its 2025 annual sustainability fund for its lecture and fundraising.
The event, scheduled for Lagos, will focus on strengthening support for people living with disabilities and promoting sustainable welfare initiatives for the elderly.
According to the organisers, this year’s programme, which will be held on Friday, August 22, 2025, will feature two key discussions on “Unity Among People Living with Disability” and “Disability and the Community.”
The Foundation, formerly known as the Centre for Disability Issues, said the annual initiative is part of its commitment to advancing inclusiveness, mobilising resources for the aged and vulnerable, and promoting community integration.
In a statement, the Foundation called on well-meaning individuals, organisations, and government agencies to support the fundraising drive, which aims to ensure a sustainable support system for people living with disabilities and the elderly.
Speakers expected at the programme include Chief Adefa, who will speak on Ifa and Politics, Lagos State commissioner for Local Government and Community Affairs, Mr.Bolaji Kayode Robert, whose lecture will dwell on Community and People Living With Disability and Chief Fatai Odua, who will speak on, ‘’The Way Film Industry is Destroying our Culture. What is the way out.’’
