The Neo Black Movement (NBM), through its Spokesman, Chike Ike, said the movement was confident that the deliberations at this year’s conference would address fundamental issues in Nigeria.

According to the movement, the NBA remains one of the most enduring institutions in our national life, a beacon of justice, a defender of the oppressed and a custodian of the rule of law.

He said its Annual Conference has, over the years, provided a distinguished platform for critical intellectual engagement, policy reflection and the advancement of democracy, human rights and good governance in Nigeria.

“At the NBM of Africa, we deeply identify with these ideals. Our Movement is equally committed to the pursuit of justice, fairness and equity values essential to building a just and progressive society.

We believe that the NBA’s continued thought leadership in shaping national discourse and strengthening democratic institutions resonates strongly with our shared aspiration for an Africa founded on justice and dignity.

“We further recognize the immense potential for meaningful collaboration between the NBA and the NBM of Africa, particularly in areas of legal enlightenment, civic education, youth empowerment and advocacy for human rights and social justice. Such synergy, we believe, will not only amplify our collective impact but also foster stronger institutions that can drive national and continental progress.

“We are confident that the deliberations at this year’s Conference will be both insightful and transformative, yielding enduring strategies for addressing the legal and socio-political challenges of our time.”
