Propak West Africa, the region’s premier exhibition and conference for the packaging, plastics, printing, and processing industries, will focus on scaling up Nigeria’s small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the food, FMCG, and packaging sectors.
The 12th edition of the event, scheduled to take place from September 9 to 11, 2025, in Lagos, will bring together over 5,500 industry professionals and showcase more than 250 global brands.
According to the organisers, the three-day conference will provide a platform for knowledge-sharing, strategic dialogue, and actionable insights to support SME manufacturers in overcoming critical challenges and unlocking their growth potential.
A lineup of speakers has been assembled to address various topics, including Dr Bunmi Kole-Dawodu, Lagos State Manager of SMEDAN; Dr Aina Olugbenga Stephen, Deputy Director of NADFAC; and leaders from First Bank of Nigeria, VertoFX, and Promasidor, among others, who will take the third-day segment, which focuses on made in Nigeria.
The event will kick off with the Propak West Africa Summit, which will focus on shaping the future of packaging in the region. The speakers for this segment include Segun Ajayi-Kadir, DG of the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria; Engr. Dr Dele Abioye, MD of BUA Foods; and leading executives from Guinness Nigeria, UAC Foods, and PZ Wilmar, among others.
On the second day, KPMG will host an executive conference on data management for sustainable packaging systems. Speakers include Mosopefolu George, Commissioner for Economic Planning and Budget, Lagos State; Oluwasoromidayo George, Director of Corporate Affairs and Sustainability, Coca-Cola; and experts from KPMG, Co-Creation Hub, and Scrapays.
