LEADERSHIP gathered that the youths of the community expressed outrage over the suspects’ actions, describing it as habitual.

The enraged youths also set a motorcycle belonging to one of the suspects on fire and attempted lynching them.

The State’s Commissioner of Police, CP Emmanuel Ado condemned the act of vandalism and urged the community to maintain restraint by allowing the law to take its course.

He emphasised that the Command would not condone lawlessness and assured that justice would be served through due process.

The CP further called on the people to always report suspicious activities to the nearest police station or security formation in their areas.
