The Debt Management Office (DMO), on behalf of the Federal Government, has opened the September 2025 offer for subscription to the FGN Savings Bond at rates broadly in line with its August issuance.

The September offering includes a 2-year bond due September 10, 2027, with a coupon rate of 15.541 per cent per annum, and a 3-year bond maturing on September 10, 2028, offering a higher return of 16.541 per cent per annum.

The offer period runs from yesterday, Monday September 1, 2025 till Friday September 5, while the settlement date is set for September 10. The September issuance follows the August outing, in which the DMO allotted a total of N3.92 billion in FGN Savings Bonds.

Last month, the DMO had offered the a 2-year bond due August 13, 2027, at a coupon rate of 14.401 per cent per annum, and a 3-year bond maturing on August 13, 2028, at a return of 15.401 per cent per annum
