Spokesperson of the Command, Ibrahim Abdullahi, in a statement, attributed the arrest to credible intelligence received from local vigilantes in the area.

According to Abdullahi, the suspects were apprehended by NSCDC personnel with vandalised transformer cables believed to have been stolen at a midnight operation.
