2025 FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup: Flamingos Resume Camping Sunday

Nigeria’s U17 women’s national team, the Flamingos, is gearing up for the 2025 FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup in Morocco. The team will resume camping on Sunday, September 7, 2025, in Abuja, as they prepare to take on the best young female footballers from around the worl.

Head Coach Bankole Olowookere has invited 30 players to the camp, comprising four goalkeepers, nine defenders, nine midfielders, and nine strikers. The players will work together to fine-tune their skills and strategies in the lead-up to the tournament.

The 2025 FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup will feature 24 teams from around the globe and will be played across four venues in two cities in Morocco.

The tournament will kick off on October 17, 2025, and run until November 8, 2025. The venues include¹:

– Prince Héritier Moulay el-Hassan Sports Complex

– Prince Moulay Abdellah Sport Complex.

– Al Barid Stadium

– Mohamed VI Football Academy
