Bayern Munich’s honorary president, Uli Hoeness, has confirmed that the club will not be signing Nicolas Jackson on a permanent basis. Jackson joined the Bundesliga champions on a one-year loan from Chelsea this summer, with an agreement that includes an obligation to buy for £56 million next year.

Hoeness has highlighted a clause in the deal that could obstruct the striker’s permanent transfer, stating, “The player and his agent contribute €3 million, so we pay a €13.5 million loan fee.
There will definitely not be a permanent contract unless he plays 40 games from the start, which will never happen.”
