Polytechnic Student Dies In Hostel

A National Diploma II student of Mass Communication department at the Federal Polytechnic Bauchi, Barira Adam, died Thursday night after a brief illness at the female hostel of the institution.

Barira, who was less than a month from her final examinations, died while recovering from a protracted illness.

She had on Thursday morning posted her picture on her WhatsApp status with the caption, “It’s true, better days are coming very soon.”

Her course mates described her as a dedicated student committed to achieving academic excellence.
