The Chief Prime Minister of the State of Southern Cherokee Nation and the Red Fire People (SCNRFP), H. E. Chief Gees-Due OO-Neh-Gah Usti, has made fresh appointments in Nigeria, with General Hassan Abdullahi as Honourary Consul General to Nigeria.

Other appointees included Amb. Hussaini Coomassie, Dr Abubakar Tanko Bala, and Dr. Umar Usman Machika as honorary Ambassadors of the Independent Cherokee Nation to the Federal Republic of Nigeria, subject to vetting and accreditation by the office of the National Security Adviser (NSA) and Nigeria’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, respectively.

In his letters dated August 19 and September 4, 2025, respectively, the Prime Minister tasked all the Nigerian appointees to be good Ambassadors and promote the core values of both countries.

The new appointees are “to observe and conform to the Ordnances and Laws of The State of SCNRFP, a recognised International independent sovereign neutral unaligned Nation and State (Country), and to solemnly promote the interests of the SCNRFP, as well as that of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and to protect such privileges by all lawful means.”

“The Theocracy Government of The State of SCNRFP stated that it wishes all the newly Emissaries (Diplomats) the best while discharging their lawful duties on behalf of the State of SCNRFP and will afford all such support as is required to carry out the duties of an Hon. Emissary/Ambassadors of The State of SCNRFP in accordance with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, respectively,” he added.
